DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 01- Arrive Delhi by international flight

On arrival at Delhi International airport after clearing immigration formalities, you will meet our representative in arrival hall holding paging of your name. He will further assist you to your vehicle and then hotel check-in formalities. (Standard check-in time is 1200 hours).

Day 02- Delhi

Post breakfast you will be proceed for combined full day city tour of Old and New Delhi. We start the tour from Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk this part of Delhi will take you in Old Mughal era, while walking through old lanes you can see big wooden carved antique doors, big havelis (mansion), narrow lanes, busy bustling life. You must taste lip smacking street food in Old Delhi market area. Then you will visit India largest Mosque “Jama Masjid” where at a time 25,000 can accommodate.

Post lunch visit New Delhi or Lutyens Delhi, beautifully designed by “Sir Edwin Lutyens”, drive pass India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Connaught Place. Later continue the sightseeing visiting, Humayun Tomb, the tomb was built in 1570 and was the first garden tomb made by Humayun’s son Akbar. It is Unesco world heritage site.

Conclude the sightseeing with the visit of “Qutub Minar”, the stunning red stone tower is 72.5 m high with 2.75m in diameter. It is a UNESCO site too.

Day 03- Delhi – Agra (204 Kms/ 4 ½ hours drive)

Post breakfast drive to Agra. The land of the Taj is not only famous for the biggest allure “Taj Mahal” but

also legacy of Mughals which they had left behind. Their legacy can be seen in mausoleums, tombs and magnificent fort.

On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon proceed to visit Red Fort, it is an UNESCO heritage site. It is a major tourist attraction from all over the world. The fort is built in red stone to make it main the residence of Mughals.

Evening will be at leisure to relax or to pursue independent activities.

Day 04- Agra – Jaipur (260 Kms/ 5-6 hours drive)

Early morning visit beautiful Taj Mahal, during sunrise the sunrays have a magical effect with marble surface. It changes its color which creates eternal beauty (Closed on Friday).

After visiting Taj Mahal return to hotel for breakfast. Post breakfast drive to Jaipur en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri. The short lived capital of Mughal emperor Akbar “Fatehpur Sikri “is 40 kms away from Agra. Sufi

Saint Salim Chisti from Sikri village predicted the birth of an heir to Mughal throne. Akbar then built this beautiful monument which blend of Mughal and Persian art.

Continue drive to Jaipur. Jaipur also known as pink city because of its wall color which are exclusively painted in pink color. This colorful city has chaotic streets, colorful auto rickshaw and lively culture. It is the gateway to Rajasthan vacation, here you can still see royal life, forts and Palace reflecting glorious past.

Day 05- Jaipur

After early breakfast, proceed to visit Amber Fort enroute stop at Hawa Mahal for clicking some pictures. It is a stunning 5 storeys building. It was built to enable royal ladies see daily lives of the city, or some function or procession as those days ladies had to cover their faces. At the entrance gate of Amber Fort, you will be provided with Elephant, climb as he will ascend and take you to the fort. You will return by foot or by jeep.

Afternoon visit City Palace (Royal residence) & observatory (Jantar Mantar).

Evening you will visit bustling yet colorful market, showcasing beautiful handicraft, Rajasthani jewellery and shoes. You can get your hand painted with traditional Indian design of henna. It looks really awesome.

Day 06- Jaipur – Jodhpur (approx. 330 Kms/ 6-7 hours)

Post breakfast drive to Jodhpur. Jodhpur is another beautiful city well known for its massive Mehrangarh Fort and colorful bazaars. The city is also known as Blue city because of its blue color painted houses.

On arrival check in at hotel. Later visit one of most famous and massive Mehrangarh Fort & Jaswant Thada.

Day 07- Jodhpur – Udaipur (approx. 295 Kms/ 6-7 hours)

Post breakfast drive to Bishnoi village where you will explore this village by jeep. Bishnoi Community has firm believe in nature and they protect animals and trees. Here you will get a chance to interact with villagers and know about their daily life.

Later continue drive to Rankapur temple. It is built in 15th century, it is one of biggest temple Jain temple

Complexes India. It is also known for its architectural beauty. The temple has 18 domes and 1444 marble pillars and each pillar is artistically carved.

Continue drive to Udaipur. Udaipur, also known as city of Lakes or Venice of the east. This romantic city is located on the banks of Lake Pichola. Beautiful Palace, mountain, lakes, history and culture make this city more beautiful and interesting. On arrival check in at hotel.

Day 08- Udaipur

Post breakfast proceed for half day city sightseeing visiting City Palace, Lake Pichola, Sahelion Ki Badi and Jagdish Temple.

Post lunch enjoy boat ride at Lake Pichola.

Day 09- Udaipur – Mumbai by flight

Post breakfast you will be transferred to airport to board the flight for Mumbai.

Meeting and assistance on arrival at the Mumbai airport and then you will be transferred to hotel.

Mumbai is the commercial and Bollywood capital of India. It is densely populated where people come from every corner of India to fulfill their dreams.

Day 10- Mumbai

Post breakfast proceed to visit of Elephanta caves.(Closed on Monday) It is a Unesco World Heritage site. These Caves located on island in Arabian Sea. A collection of temples in the caves dedicated to Hindu God Shiva. The luggage can be deposited with bell captain of the hotel till your departure transfer. Today we will take you to excursion of Elephanta Caves, a short ferry ride takes you to the island of Elephanta Caves also known as the Gharapuri in the local language meaning fortress city. These rock cut caves belong to the ninth century and are dedicated to Lord Shiva. Visit this island approachable only by ferry and you will be amazed to see the rock cut caves lying in the midst of this island.

Later proceed for city tour of Mumbai including visits to Marine Drive, Malabar Hill, Dhobi Ghat, the Towers of Silence, Mahalakshmi Temple, the Tomb of Haji Ali and Mani Bhavan. The tour will also include a visit to interesting Prince of Wales museum (closed on Mondays)

Day 11- Mumbai – Aurangabad by flight

Post breakfast you will transferred to airport to board the flight for Aurangabad.

Later visit Ellora caves. It located 30 Kms from Aurangabad city and another fine example of ancient Indian rock cut architecture art. It is a unesco world heritage site. These caves are among the largest rock-hewn monastic-temple complexes in the entire world. Ellora has a total of 34 caves including Buddhist, Hindu and Jain cave temples which were built long back in the 6th and 9th centuries. (Closed on Tuesday).

Afternoon visit Daultabad Fort, this hilltop fortress is about 15 kms from the city and enroute to Ellora. It was built by Yadava Kings through 12th century. Later it was renamed as Daultabad the city by Delhi Sultan

Muhammad Tughlaq. He then shifted his capital from Delhi to here but due to water crisis had to return to Delhi. Also visit Bibi ka Maqbara.

Day 12- Aurangabad

Later drive to Ajanta Caves (approx. 01 hour). It is also a Unesco Heritage site, houses 30 rock cut Buddhist caves. These secluded caves date from around the 2nd century BC to the 6th century AD and were among the earliest monastic institutions to be constructed in the country. (Closed on Tuesday). The caves is well known for its great art and Indian craftsmen. You will get to see lots of painting and carving (Closed on Monday).

Evening return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 13- Aurangabad – Mumbai by flight

Post breakfast in time transfer to airport to board the flight for Mumbai.

On arrival at Mumbai airport board the flight for onward destination.
