DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 01- Arrive Delhi by international flight

On arrival at Delhi International airport after clearing immigration formalities, you will meet our representative in arrival hall holding paging of your name. He will further assist you to your vehicle and then hotel check-in formalities. (Standard check-in time is 1200 hours)

Day 02- Delhi

Post breakfast you will be proceed for combined full day city tour of Old and New Delhi. We start the tour from Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk this part of Delhi will take you in Old Mughal era, while walking through old lanes you can see big wooden carved antique doors, big havelis (mansion), narrow lanes and busy bustling life. You must taste lip smacking street food in Old Delhi market area. Then you will visit India’s largest Mosque “Jama Masjid” where at a time 25,000 can accommodate.

Post lunch visit New Delhi or Lutyens Delhi, beautifully designed by “Sir Edwin Lutyens”, drive pass India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Connaught Place. Later continue the sightseeing visiting, Humayun Tomb, the tomb was built in 1570 and was the first garden tomb made by Humayun’s son Akbar. It is Unesco world heritage site.

Conclude the sightseeing with the visit of “Qutub Minar”, the stunning red stone tower is 72.5 m high with 2.75m in diameter. It is also UNESCO site.

Evening will be at leisure to relax or to pursue independent activities.

Day 03- Delhi- Amritsar by flight

Post breakfast assisted transfer to airport to board the flight for Amritsar.

Meeting and assistance on arrival at Amritsar airport and transfer to hotel.

Later in the afternoon proceed for Wagha Border visit. The Wagah Border Ceremony is a military practice carried out by the Indian Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers. The soldiers treat it with absolute seriousness.

Return to hotel.  Evening will be at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04- Amritsar

Post breakfast visit Golden Temple. Later visit Jaliawala Bagh and local market.

The most sacred of Sikh shrines, the Golden Temple, is a major pilgrimage destination for devotees from around the world, as well as, an ever increasing popular tourist attraction. Construction of the Amrit Sarovar (pool of nectar) was initiated by Guru Amar Das, the third Guru, in 1570 and was completed by Guru Ram Das, the fourth Guru. During the sightseeing the guide will give small introduction about Sikkhism.

We will also do a food walk covering local eateries market and taste the mouthwatering street foods and snacks of Amritsar. Lunch will be at local restaurant.

Later explore the shopping area of the city. Evening be the witness of procession of Palki Sahib at Golden Temple. Eleventh guru of sikh

Day 05- Amritsar –Delhi by flight

Delhi- Jaipur (approx. 5.5 hours drive)

Post breakfast assisted transfer to airport to board the flight for Delhi.

On arrival at Delhi airport drive to Jaipur. Jaipur also known as pink city because of its wall color which are exclusively painted in pink color. This colorful city has chaotic streets, colorful auto rickshaw and lively culture. It is the gateway to Rajasthan vacation, here you can still see royal life, forts and Palaces reflecting glorious past.

On arrival check in at hotel.  Evening will be at leisure.

Day 06- Jaipur

After early breakfast proceed to visit Amber Fort en-route stop at Hawa Mahal for clicking some pictures, it is a stunning 5 story building. It was built to enable royal ladies see daily lives of the city or some function or procession as those days ladies had to cover their faces. Visit Amber Fort by shared jeep/ elephant.

Later visit City Palace (Royal residence) & observatory (Jantar Mantar).

Evening you will visit bustling yet colorful market showcasing beautiful handicraft, Rajasthan jewelry and shoes. You can get your hand painted with traditional Indian design of henna. It looks really awesome.

Day 07- Jaipur

Post breakfast visit a block print workshop, here you will get to see people are doing block printing with

Organic colors and printing traditional designs.

Later proceed to visit Sanganer. It is a small township situated approximately 16 kilometers away from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Known for its famous handmade paper industry and the textile printing industry, Sanganer is very famous for Jain pilgrimage services.

Later visit Blue Pottery is one of the well-known crafts of Jaipur. It was once a native craft of Persia that was brought to India by Mughals and later got patronized by Indian ruler (mostly Rajput).  This blue pottery technique is an imported one. It is a mix of Chinese glazing technology with Persian decorative arts. Blue pottery caught the local people’s interest and many started learning this craft soon, most of the Kumbhar (pottery) families also shifted from working on red clay to blue pottery later on a larger scale.

Later visit Laxmi Narayan Temple. Laxmi Narayan Temple or Birla Mandir is situated in the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan, India. It is located below the Moti Dungri Fort.Laxmi Narayan Temple or Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple devoted to goddess Laxmi and god Vishnu. In Jaipur, the temple is a proud landmark. The temple is made up of pure white marble with a modern approach and style. Both the idols of the deities are designed beautifully and look amazing. Inside the temple, other things can be found such as idols of other Hindu deities, ancient quotes, Hindu symbols, ornaments and many more on the walls of the temple.

Evening will be at leisure to relax.

Day 08- Jaipur- Agra (approx. 5.5 hours drive)

Post breakfast drive to Jaipur en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri. The short lived capital of Mughal emperor Akbar “Fatehpur Sikri “ is 40 kms away from Agra. Sufi Saint Salim Chisti from Sikri village predicted the birth of an heir to Mughal throne. Akbar then built this beautiful monument which blend of Mughal and Persian art.

Continue drive to Agra. On arrival check in at hotel. The land of the Taj is not only famous for the biggest allure “Taj Mahal” but also legacy of Mughals which they had left behind. Their legacy can be seen in mausoleums, tombs and magnificent fort.

Day 09- Agra – Delhi (approx.. 203 Kms/ 4.5 hours drive)

Early morning visit beautiful Taj Mahal, during sunrise the sunrays have a magical effect with marble surface. It changes its color which creates eternal beauty (Closed on Friday).

Return to hotel for breakfast. Afternoon Agra Fort. Red Fort, it is an UNESCO heritage site. It is a major tourist attraction from all over the world. The fort is built in red stone to make it main residence of Mughals.

Later drive to Delhi. On arrival Delhi dinner at local restaurant. After dinner you will be transferred to airport to board the flight for onward destination.

o   30 days prior to arrival in India, 20% of the total billing.

o   If the flights are involved, the cancellation will be applicable as per airline cancellation rules on the flight tickets. According to flight cancellation, we will refund the rest of the amount after deducting our service charges on the flight tickets.

o   15 days prior to arrival in India: 50% of total billing.
