03 March’2023 Friday   

Day 01- Arrive Delhi by international flight

On arrival at Delhi International airport after clearing immigration formalities, you will meet our representative in arrival hall holding paging of your name. He will further assist you to your vehicle and then hotel check-in formalities. (Standard check-in time is 1200 hours)

Rest of the day will be at leisure. Dinner will be at your respective hotel. (Fixed menu basis).

Day 02- Delhi

Post breakfast you will be proceed for combined full day city tour of Old and New Delhi. We start the tour from Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk this part of Delhi will take you in Old Mughal era, while walking through old lanes you can see big wooden carved antique doors, big havelis (mansion), narrow lanes and busy bustling life. You must taste lip smacking street food in Old Delhi market area.

What to wear: Because of little conservative society in Old Delhi – Ladies, please dress modestly (wear dress which cover your shoulders and your legs below the knees), Please ensure you are carrying cap for adequate protection against the sun. Usually you have to take off footwear to visit Indian houses, but check with your host as this rule may apply only to some areas of the house.

Post lunch visit New Delhi or Lutyens Delhi, beautifully designed by “Sir Edwin Lutyens”, drive pass India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Connaught Place. Later continue the sightseeing visiting, Humayun Tomb, the tomb was built in 1570 and was the first garden tomb made by Humayun’s son Akbar. It is Unesco world heritage site.

Conclude the sightseeing with the visit of “Qutub Minar”, the stunning red stone tower is 72.5 m high with 2.75m in diameter. It is also UNESCO site.

Dinner will be at Qutub Minar facing restaurant Dramz. Enjoy the monument view and delicious meal together.

Day 03- Delhi – Udaipur by flight

Post breakfast assisted transfer to airport to board the flight for Udaipur. Udaipur, also known as city of Lakes or Venice of the east. This romantic city is located on the banks of Lake Pichola. Beautiful Palace, mountain, lakes, history and culture make this city more beautiful.

Meeting and assistance on arrival at Udaipur airport and transfer to hotel.

Afternoon, experience a food walk along with heritage walk. Experience the hustle bustle of the old market at Udaipur. Walk past the spice shops, jewellery shops, utensil shops, jiggery shops, silver market and local meat & food shop. Enjoy locals snacks and taste it at famous eateries.

Enjoy dinner at lake side (View) restaurant. This lakeside dinner make the atmosphere more romantic and lovely.

Day 04- Udaipur

Morning, take a tour of the city visiting the City Palace, which stands on the crest of a ridge overlooking Lake Pichola. The largest palace in Rajasthan, it was built at various periods but still preserves the harmony of design, enhanced by massive octagonal towers surmounted by cupolas. Now a museum, it is a labyrinth of courtyards richly decorated with inlaid mirror-work, galleries covered with frescos, temples and roof gardens, which afford a wide panorama below. Later visit mid-17th century built Jagdish Temple in the old town, famous for the remarkable bronze statue of Garuda, the mythical bird, facing his revered master Lord Vishnu.

Continue the visit to the Sahelion-ki-Bari (Garden of the Handmaidens), a good example of the Hindu art of landscape gardening on a princely scale. Ornamental pools with finely sculptured cenotaphs of soft black stone are surrounded by a profusion of fountains.

Towards the evening, enjoy a boat ride on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. The beautiful Lake Pichola was enlarged by Maharana Udai Singh after he founded the city. The city palace extends a considerable distance along the east bank of the lake. From the boat you will be able to view the city of Udaipur as it rises majestically above the lake in the middle of the Rajasthan desert. One would get an interesting view of the Dhobi (laundry) ghats. Also visit the Jag Mandir Palace – a lovely island palace in the middle of the lake.

Dinner with local family – you are welcomed to her home to learn how to cook popular Rajasthani cuisine. Rajasthani Cuisine is a splendid array of colorful, spicy and unique dishes.

Immerse yourself in the Rajasthani culture.  Her kitchen ‘Kushalgarh Cuisine’ is open for you to learn how to prepare these traditional dishes at your own pace. The guests have the opportunity to chop vegetables, stir or to add masalas (spices) to the dishes.

Her goal is to have fun while learning to cook. The Cooking Class is followed by a sit down meal and a pleasant conversation. They also get an opportunity to interact with the family members. This is not just a meal but a dining experience in a Noble family. An opportunity to experience Rajasthani hospitality and culture.

After the 2-3 hour cooking class followed by dinner.

Day 05- Udaipur – Jodhpur (approx. 290 Kms/ 06 hours)

Post breakfast drive to Udaipur en-route visit Ranakpur Temple. It is built in 15th century, it is one of biggest temple Jain temple Complexes India. It is also known for its architectural beauty. The temple has 18 domes and 1444 marble pillars and each pillar is artistically carved.

After lunch at local restaurant in Ranakpur continue drive to Jodhpur. Jodhpur is another beautiful city well known for its massive Mehrangarh Fort and colorful bazaars. The city is also known as Blue city because of its blue color painted houses.

Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.

08 March’2023 Wednesday

Day 06- Jodhpur (Holi Festival Celebrations)

Day 07- Jodhpur-Khimsar by road (105 Kms/2.5 hours)

After breakfast proceed to visit Meharangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada.

Mehrangarh Fort & Jaswant Thada, one of most famous and massive Mehrangarh Fort & Jaswant Thada. Mehrangarh Fort: Rising perpendicular and impregnable from a hill which is 125 metres above Jodhpur’s skyline is the Mehrangarh Fort. This historic fort is one of the most famous in India and is packed with history and legends. Mehrangarh Fort still bears the imprints of cannonball attacks courtesy the armies of Jaipur on its second gate. Chiseled and sturdy, the fort is known for its exquisite latticed windows, carved panels, intricately decorated windows and walls of Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal and Sheesh Mahal.

Jaswant Thada: This milky white memorial built towards the end of the 19th century as a tribute to the leader Jaswant Singh is a huge tourist attraction. Jaswant Singh, who ruled Jodhpur, invested well in his state. He made attempts to bring down the level of crime, subdue dacoits, built railways and broadly worked on raising the economy of Marwar. Jaswant Thada is managed and looked after by the Mehrangarh Museum Trust (MMT) and is open to public.

Later drive towards Khimsar. On arrival check in at tented accommodation/ hotel. Khimsar Fort is located near Khinvsar village, in the Nagaur district of Rajasthan in India, halfway between Jodhpur and Nagaur, on the eastern edge of the Thar Desert. The fortress was built in 1523 by Rao Karamsji, the 8th son of Rao Jodha of Jodhpur. Aurangzeb use to stay here while in Nagaur.

Located only 8 km from Khimsar Fort & accessible by a metaled road you drive in to explore the Khimsar Dunes Village & enjoy the The Great Indian Thar Desert experience. In rural Rajasthan 75% of the inhabitants typically reside in villages. Of these villagers 80% live on & around their agricultural lands, locally known as “Dhanis’” (dwellings or hamlets). Khimsar Dunes Village represents such Dhanis of huts surrounding a small water body which is rain-fed for providing water for livestock & is an integral part of their livelihood. The sunrise & sunset in the sand dunes are extraordinary!! The shooting stars in the dark desert night are breathtaking to watch.

Evening enjoy dinner & dance at dunes with short camel ride.

Day 08- Khimsar- Jaipur by road (230Kms/5.5 hours)

Post breakfast drive to Jaipur.   Jaipur also known as pink city because of its wall color which are exclusively painted in pink color. This colorful city has chaotic streets, colorful auto rickshaw and lively culture. It is the gateway to Rajasthan vacation, here you can still see royal life, forts and Palaces reflecting glorious past.

On arrival check in at hotel. Later you will visit bustling yet colorful market showcasing beautiful handicraft, Rajasthan jewelry and shoes. You can get your hand painted with traditional Indian design of henna. It looks really awesome. While enjoying the market we will arrange THALI LUNCH (Veg platter) at a local restaurant.

Later in the evening enjoy dinner with local family, along with 15-20 minute session on the spices using regularly in Indian cooking.

Our driver will pick you up in the evening approx. 1800 hrs and drive you to a local family or Chef home in Jaipur for dinner.  Indians are known for hospitality and visit to a local family in Jaipur is the right way to experience it.  On arrival, you will be greeted in a traditional way. Walk into a Jaipur house and you may encounter many fascinating things like pictures and statues of different Hindu deities.

In India, it is common to see many generations living under the same roof. Indulge in conversation and get to know the lifestyle and daily routine of local families.  You can also visit ‘Rasoi’, the cooking section of Indian houses. Smell the rich aroma of spicy Rajasthani food being cooked in different utensils. The spice content in Rajasthani food is quite high as compared to other Indian cuisines. You can also note down the recipe or stir the cooking vessel.

Day 09- Jaipur

After early breakfast proceed to visit Amber Fort en-route stop at Hawa Mahal for clicking some pictures, it is a stunning 5 story building. It was built to enable royal ladies see daily lives of the city or some function or procession as those days ladies had to cover their faces. (Will explore Amber fort by shared jeeps).

After visiting Amber Fort proceed for a food walk. Now we will proceed to FOOD WALK OF JAIPUR ALONG WITH LUNCH.

Jaipur is famous for its rich and diverse food culture, and we at East Voyages Experiences take our local food very seriously. On this carefully designed FOOD TOUR, you will take a walk through a local bazaar with our Food Guide, to learn about the ingredients and essentials of Rajasthani cooking. The core idea is to show the city as we show cast to our friends and relatives. Hence we emphasis on the best foodie stops of Jaipur. A food tour of Jaipur is the best way to experience a blend of Spice, sweet, tangy, dessert etc. The mouth-watering walk is taken in the old parts of the Pink City, and around areas. The food is genuine, flavorful and as protected.

Afternoon visit City Palace (Royal residence) & observatory (Jantar Mantar).

Day 10- Jaipur – Agra (approx.. 265 Kms/ 6 hours)

Post breakfast drive to Agra en-route visit Abhaneri Stepwell. It is one of the largest step wells in the world and also one of the most beautiful ones. Located in the eastern part of the province of Rajasthan, it was built by King Chanda somewhere in the 9th century. The Chand Baori is not an easy landmark to find, thus it is one of the hidden secrets of India Chand Baori one was built during the 8th and 9th centuries and has 3,500 narrow steps arranged in perfect symmetry, which descend 20m to the bottom of the well.Centuries ago, the stepwells were built in the arid zones of Rajasthan to provide water all year through. Today, the construction is not used as a well anymore but its exquisite geometry attracts local and international visitors. About 64 feet deep, it is India’s largest and deepest stepwells with 13 floors and was built in the 9th century for water harvesting.

After visiting step well continue drive to Agra with en-route lunch at Bharatpur.  On arrival check in at hotel.

Later in the evening arrive at Mehtab Bagh so that guests can enjoy sunset there. Mehtab Bagh is located on the left bank of Yamuna opposite Taj Mahal. The garden complex is approximately 300 square meters and is in straight alignment with the Taj Mahal.The excavation has revealed a huge octagonal tank on the southern periphery; Baradaris or pavilion on the East and West; a small octagonal tank at the center and a gateway at the Northern wall.

Dinner will be at one of the famous restaurant of Agra.

Day 11- Agra

Early morning visit beautiful Taj Mahal, during sunrise the sunrays have a magical effect with marble surface. It changes its color which creates eternal beauty (Closed on Friday). While returning to hotel made by deep-frying maida flour (plain flour or all-purpose flour) batter in pretzel or circular shapes, which are then soaked in sugar syrup.

Return to hotel for breakfast. Afternoon Agra Fort. Red Fort, it is an UNESCO heritage site. It is a major tourist attraction from all over the world. The fort is built in red stone to make it main residence of Mughals.

Evening Food tour – Every city has its own street food traditions, usually more delicious than the food you may find inside its restaurants. Flavours of Agra tour is the best way to absorb the flavour of the city, Agra offers you the best of history coupled with the best in cuisine as well. The streets of Agra have a wide range of eateries all offering delectably scrumptious food that is sure to suit every traveller’s appetite. The variety in cuisine ranging from tasty Mughlai food to international and oriental cuisine with a perfect blend of vegetarian and non-vegetarian finds is another reason to visit Agra.

You can also indulge in some great street food of chaat items like- Pani Puri, Aloo Tikki, Papdi Chaat, Dahi Bhalla, Pav Bhaji, etc. or snacks like Samosas, Kachoris, etc. served in any of the major bazaars and streets of Agra like Kinari Bazaar, MG Road, Sadar Bazaar, PratapPura, Belangunj, Raja Mandi bazaar etc. Experience the city while walking with all your senses and soak up the colors, sounds, sights, aromas and tastes.

Return to hotel, we purposely did not include the dinner as after food walk stomach feels full but in case you feel hungry you can directly order for yourself on direct payment basis.

Day 12- Agra –Delhi (approx.203 Kms/4.5 hours) Depart Delhi

Post breakfast drive to Delhi. On arrival visit “Gurudwara Bangla Sahib”, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is one of the most prominent Sikh gurdwara, or Sikh house of worship, in Delhi, India, and known for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan, as well as the holy pond inside its complex, known as the “Sarovar.

On arrival visit the Gurudwara and community kitchen where everybody helping each other to cook the LANGAR (community food). Here anyone can have food as they never discriminate in terms of cast, color, or religion. It is a really amazing experience.

Dinner at airport hotel / local restaurant.  Later you will be transferred to airport to board the flight for onward destination.
